BSS Frequently Asked Questions for Spring 2017 AAU:

 

What if my player cannot attend both tryouts?

Players can attend one or both tryouts to be considered for a team.  It is recommended to attend both tryouts if possible as it helps our evaluation process.  If a player cannot attend either tryout we will arrange a makeup workout for placement purposes.

 

When does the Spring season start and end?

Practices will begin in Mid-March and continue through the beginning of June.

 

How many practices will be held per week?

For the Spring, teams will practice for 90 minutes twice a week.

 

Where are practices held?

Practices will be held at either Fay School in Southborough, St. Marks School in Southborough or Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough.  The practice schedule has not yet been set.

 

What if my player wants additional workouts?

Throughout the season we will offer additional skills clinics.

 

What is the cost of the Spring season?

Tuition for the Spring season is $650 for returning players from Fall 2016 (who have a uniform) or $725 for new players (which includes an Adidas uniform).  This tuition includes all tournament fees.

 

What if my player cannot commit to the entire season?

We offer part-time status to players who cannot make a full commitment.  Tuition is pro-rated for those players.

 

Do you offer teams for all skill-levels?

Yes.  We field Developmental Teams, Regional Teams and Elite Teams.

 

How many tournaments are there? How many games per tournament? When and where are the tournaments?

Most teams will participate in seven tournaments during the Spring season.  Tournaments are typically made up of 3-4 games over a weekend (most likely both Saturdays and Sundays, sometimes Friday nights).

The tournament schedule is not set yet but they will be during seven weekends of the Spring season.

Tournaments are in held in various locations across Massachusetts, typically Danvers, Reading, Boston, Hanover, Northborough, Sturbridge, Foxborough. ​ 

Some of our Elite teams will play in State and National tournaments
